OT: anybody using DSL?

Im in the process of getting dsl, anybody here use it? just wondering how the speed is.

, We have a dedicated T1 line at school and it serves about 300 computers between 2 schools, it's about the speed of a 56k with all that load and dsl is faster so I'd say it's pretty fast.

I have road runner cable. I like it alot
A page of photos loads up in 13 sec or so.
You should get one.

I had it here in sitka but it sucked worce than my 56k connection never got the bandwith I was paying for and it would constantly disconect probibly the company I was going thrugh ACS (part of AT&T I think) I have cable modem now and love it. I have cable modem now and share it with my roommate. I love it.

the 256k connection I can usuly get about 25k in bandwidth. In town they offer 64k 128k 256k 512k and something in the gigabite range.
